Earlier this year we launched our Last To Share platform to encourage people to tell their friends about the merchants we profile. We’ve had a lot of success with our current platform. For instance we have more than 20x times the sharing activity per deal then some of the largest competitors. We have paid out more than 270 cash bounties over the past several months.


We knew going into it that we’d want to iterate and refine the idea, and so we were excited to launch and learn. Today we launch our newly designed Last To Share platform and we think that it’s going to significantly improve the SalesVote experience.

Share To Win Update

We are having a lot of fun with our Share to Win Platform. So far over 100 cash bounties have been won by people being the last to share before the timer expires.


We are excited about this new platform because we believe incentivizing people to share directly with their friends, is better than relying on third party ads (e.g SEM). Moreover, this patent pending approach, where we have a timer decrementing throughout the day (we only have it on from 9 am to the early evening) that increases by 45 seconds each time a deal is shared, allows for gamification that fosters engagement--instead of just buying a deal and moving along, people are keeping their SalesVote browser window open and playing to win money throughout the day.


With that said, we have a couple new guidelines that we are implementing going forward.
